This Privacy Policy describes how BridgeDots Ltd. (“BridgeDots”, “we”, “us”), a Colorado limited liability company operating the Back2Me service at back2me.co, collects and handles your personal information. By using Back2Me, you agree to this Policy.
We collect: email address, display name, optional phone number, IP addresses of message senders, and message content.
Your data is used solely to deliver notifications when someone finds your item. We never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.
Messages are retained for up to 2 years. Activity logs and IP records are purged after 90 days. You may delete your account at any time to remove all personal data.
You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. To delete your account and all data, go to Settings → Danger Zone. For data export or other requests, contact us at privacy@back2me.co.
We are committed to compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our lawful basis for processing is legitimate interest (lost property recovery) and consent. You may withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account.
Back2Me offers optional SMS and WhatsApp notifications for lost-item recovery alerts, account-related notifications, and customer support messages.
Your phone number is collected only when you voluntarily navigate to Settings and enable SMS or WhatsApp notifications. You must verify your phone number before notifications are enabled.
Message frequency varies based on how often your items are scanned. You will only receive messages when someone finds your item and sends you a message.
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.
You can opt out of SMS notifications at any time by:
